Jill Ripa is an author and playwright who spent seventeen years as a secondary theatre teacher, earning her MFA in directing and cultivating a unique "creative manifesto" for the stage. After two decades of bringing scripts to life as a director, Jill is stepping into her second act—this time, on the page.
She is currently crafting her debut middle-grade novel, following a spirited young girl named Abigail through the streets of Cortona, Italy. Through her blog and Substack, The Ghost Light, Jill invites readers to join her on this meandery, magic-filled journey from the stage to the page.
